Caught Offside speculates that Everton have "asked" about a January move for Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus.

The online outlet believes that the Brazilian international is looking for regular first-team football ahead of next summer's World Cup in North America – and a host of clubs, including the Blues and West Ham are possible destinations for him.

Meanwhile, WSL Full-Time covers Wednesday's announcement that Everton Women defender Issy Hobson has been recalled from her loan at Nottingham Forest.

The youngster made one appearance for Forest after being loaned out at the start of the month, but is now back on Merseyside to provide defensive cover.

Hobson will be available for Everton’s WSL clash against Leicester City at King Power Stadium on Sunday (11.55am BST kick-off).

Everton Women's next home match is their first ever fixture at Hill Dickinson Stadium, a clash with Manchester United at midday on Sunday 12 October. Tickets are available by clicking here.
