Lawley Joins Burnley On Loan

Everton can confirm forward Melissa Lawley has joined Burnley on loan for the 2025/26 season.

An experienced player at the top level, Lawley signed for Everton in July 2024 following the expiry of her contract with Liverpool.

The 31-year-old made 20 appearances last season, providing the assist for Honoka Hayashi’s memorable winner against title-chasing Manchester City in December.

Lawley joins former Reds boss Matt Beard at Burnley, who finished fourth in the FA WPL Premier Division last term.
