Brian Sorensen reflected on Everton's narrow 3-1 defeat to reigning champions Chelsea.

Three goals in the space of five minutes shaped the contest. Katie McCabe opened the scoring inside 11 minutes with a powerful strike from distance, but Honoka Hayashi responded almost immediately, restoring parity with a clinical effort from the edge of the area.

The Gunners quickly regained the advantage as Alessia Russo finished from close range, before Olivia Smith added a late third with a long-range volley to seal the points for the visitors.
