It is widely believed that Everton was the first football club to have its own Shareholders' Association; a group that first came into being in 1938.
The original intention of the association, to act as a watchdog over important matters concerning the Club, is still a valid summary of its objective today.
The association maintains close ties with the leadership of the Club, but remains fiercely independent.
As Evertonians first and shareholders second, the Association's members will continue their efforts to unite the voice of fans and uphold the traditions of Everton Football Club at all times.
If anyone has any questions or queries about the Shareholders' Association, they should email paula.fenwick@evertonfc.com
