Everton In The Community

Everton Football Club is proud of its deep-rooted connection with the communities it serves through the work of Everton in the Community (EitC), the Club’s official charity.

Established in 1988, Everton in the Community is one of the UK’s leading sporting charities, delivering more than 60 programmes and initiatives that support people of all ages across Liverpool City Region. Through its work in education, employability, health and wellbeing, youth engagement and social inclusion, the charity tackles some of society’s biggest challenges and helps people build brighter futures.

In 2023, the charity launched a five-year strategy called the Trinity Project to build ‘stronger communities, brighter futures’ and pave the way for a brighter future by empowering thousands of residents to achieve meaningful work, better health, enriched lives and lifelong learning.

Much of this work is delivered from its Goodison Campus in Liverpool 4, where the charity has invested more than £13million into community facilities, including The People’s Hub, Blue Base, Digital Skills Lab and The People’s Place – the UK’s first purpose-built mental health and wellbeing hub attached to a Premier League club.

A recent independent socio-economic report found that Everton in the Community generates £80.1million of social and economic value each year, delivering £16.31 in social value for every £1 invested.

Now Everton Football Club has embarked on a new era at Hill Dickinson Stadium for the men’s first team, Everton in the Community remains firmly committed to its historic roots in L4. Through its facilities, partnerships and life-changing programmes, the charity will continue to support communities across Liverpool City Region and beyond, ensuring Everton’s values remain at the heart of everything it does.
