Tarkowski Joins Junior EDSA Members For Virtual Q&A

Defender James Tarkowski is well accustomed to facing the media but it was junior members of the Everton Disabled Supporters' Association putting him on the spot for his latest interview.

To mark Everton's support of the Level Playing Field 'Unite For Access' campaign, Tarkowski joined a virtual call with the youngsters to face questions on everything from what Jordan Pickford shouts at him during matches to what he wanted to be if he wasn't a footballer and his favourite tackle.

The defender also explained what it has meant to him to wear Everton's captain's armband this season and how he looks up to Club skipper Seamus Coleman.

The player Q&A with junior EDSA members has become an annual event as part of Everton's backing of 'Unite for Access', with Tarkowski following in the footsteps of Amadou Onana, Andros Townsend and Tom Davies in taking time out to meet with the youngsters, answer their questions and learn more about EDSA's aims.

The 'Unite for Access' campaign, which this year is running from Saturday 24 February to Sunday 10 March, raises awareness and drives for a more inclusive matchday experience for disabled sports fans everywhere.

As part of its commitment to continuous fan engagement, Everton works with EDSA throughout each season to provide experiences but also to improve the facilities for disabled supporters and ensure a positive matchday experience through regular dialogue and the giving of feedback.
