Abdoulaye Doucoure was the surprise guest to present Everton Under-9s Academy player Luis, who recently won a Premier League award for writing a fantastic poem on 'Diversity’.

Academy prospects across the country were invited to write about what ‘Diversity’ means to them as part of a recent Premier League initiative, and Luis' poem - inspired by his sister India - was selected as the overall winner from all the submissions from participating club academies. 

As a reward, Luis was asked to read his poem at Finch Farm, and a special guest joined him to admire the youngster's fine work before presenting him with his award. Watch the video of the meeting below or by clicking here.
