Robinson let loose an effort from outside of the box that flew over Emily Ramsey.
A tense second half followed with both sides seeking a winner.
The 71st minute saw Everton enjoy a series of attempts in quick succession in the box including an overhead kick, but were yet again denied by the formidable Seagulls defence.

Pressing Brighton high in their half, the ball dropped to Bennison who was marked by a series of Brighton defenders.
However, with the Swede's expert technical ability she was able to give herself a yard of space before blasting the ball past Walsh along the left side, sending Walton Hall Park into euphoria.
A fantastic finish for what has been a brilliant home campaign for the Toffees.
One match remains for Brian Sorensen's side as they travel next weekend to face Manchester City.
