Pickford Headlines Wednesday's Programme

Jordan Pickford is in the spotlight in Wednesday’s edition of the Everton matchday programme.

Leicester City are the visitors to Goodison Park for the midweek Premier League fixture, with the cover featuring James McCarthy as we wish the midfielder well in his recovery from a broken leg.

England international Pickford has enjoyed a fine start to his Everton career but he tells the programme that it's just the start and he hopes to improve with the Blues.

With it being a World Cup year, the glovesman is eager to help his club climb up the table and predicts the Toffees can finish the season on a high.

Joining Pickford in Wednesday’s edition is his new goalkeeping coach, Martyn Margetson. The former West Ham and Crystal Palace coach is no stranger to working under Sam Allardyce so was very willing to accept a position at the Club where his hero, Neville Southall, is a legend.

And he has enjoyed working with young keeper Pickford as well, as he reveals.

Pickford programme

Our usual round-up of the Under-23s and Ladies has a distinctly ‘striker’ feel to it with Bassala Sambou and Courtney Sweetman-Kirk among the goals of late, while there is reaction from another positive performance from the Under-18s.

The forwards theme continues with James Beattie looking back fondly on those who made his time at Everton so enjoyable, while former Leicester striker Steve Claridge gives us the low down on the Foxes.

Available around the ground and priced at £3.50, you can also purchase a digital version of the programme for every game this season. Click here to find out more and how to subscribe.
