When you apply to volunteer with EitC we collect your personal information to identify and contact you. We will also assess your suitability to volunteer.​

Where does your data come from?​

• The data will come directly from you.​

What data do we collect?​

• Your name and other relevant identifiers.¹​
• Contact information.¹​
• Performance, capability and suitability to volunteer.¹​
• Criminal record and other sensitive data if disclosed as part of the pre-employment screening process.²​
• Health information – if disclosed to us and relevant to your application, including for reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process.³​
• Sensitive identifiers such as ethnicity, sexual orientation and religion.³

How long do we keep your data?​

• Successful applicants will have their data transferred to their volunteer record.​

Who do we share your data with?​

• Everton employees responsible for recruitment of volunteers.​
• Suppliers and other third parties if necessary to support the recruitment process.​

What is the legal requirement being met for this activity?​

• • Performance of a contract or pre-contract – Article 6 1 (b) UK GDPR.¹​
  • Substantial Public Interest – Article 9 (g) UK GDPR & Safeguarding – Part 2 18 DPA.²​
  • Consent – Article 6 1 (a) and Article 9 2 (a) UK GDPR.³
