Marketing includes maintenance of our stakeholder records, understanding behaviours and interests, marketing preferences and delivering content to our stakeholders. 


How do we use your data?

EitC use your data to understand whether you want to receive promotions and news from us, how you engage with us including online and social media, and whether you have opened and read the emails you receive from us. This may also involve analysis of characteristics to help us better understand our supporters and their behaviours.¹​​

We will only deliver marketing content directly to individuals if you have opted-in.²

We may deliver business-to-business marketing when we have an established relationship or other legitimate interest.

Where does your data come from?

  • For individuals, the data will come directly from you.
  • We may enrich data with assumptions based on your personal characteristics, behaviours and engagements with us.

What data do we collect?

  • Your name and other relevant identifiers.
  • Contact information.
  • Marketing preferences.
  • Usage and technical data such as whether you have opened our emails and on what device type.
  • Your likes, preferences and behaviours, which may be assumed or aggregated based on other characteristics.

How long do we keep your data?

  • We will retain your details for 6 years after your last engagement with the Club.

Who do we share your data with?

  • EitC employees responsible for marketing activities.
  • Third parties who support the delivery of marketing.

What is the legal requirement being met for this activity?

  • Legitimate Interests – Article 6 1 (f) UK GDPR.¹
  • Consent – Article 6 1 (a) UK GDPR.²
