Privacy Portal - EITC – Local Food Pantry

Everton in the Community, in partnership with Fans Supporting Foodbanks and Your Local Pantry, is welcoming individuals and families to its new member-run food pantry, available for everybody from the local community to access.

How do we use your data?​

Your data is used to register you with the Local Food Pantry @ The Blue Base and check your eligibility.

As well as having access to discounted food, members will also have access to wrap around services such as benefits and welfare guidance and housing support. Your information will be used to assess your needs and the support available to you.

Where does your data come from?​

•EitC will receive information directly from you when you register for the Local Food Pantry.

What data do we collect?​

•Your name and other relevant identifiers.​

•Your contact information, such as address and phone number​

•Information to verify your eligibility to the Local Food Pantry.

•Sensitive identifiers, such as ethnicity, sexual orientation and religion. This is to assess any specific needs or adjustments and to monitor the effectiveness of the project.​

•Health information, including mental health or disabilities. This is to fully assess any specific needs or adjustments.​

•Other data concerning the assessment of your social and economic factors.​

How long do we keep your data?​

•We will retain your details for 6 years.​

Who do we share your data with?​

•Everton employees responsible for the Local Food Pantry project delivery and administration.​

•Each Local Pantry within the Your Local Pantry network is a franchise, such as EitC, but part of a UK-wide network. EitC is partnered with St. Andrews Community Network locally.

•The national network is supported and managed by Church Action on Poverty. Your data specific to the Local Food Pantry will be accessible to Your Local Pantry and Church Action on Poverty. For further information please see - https://www.yourlocalpantry.co.uk/privacy-notice/

What is the legal requirement being met for this activity?​

Consent – Article 6 1(a) and Article 9 2 (a) UK GDPR.​

You can withdraw consent at anytime. If you withdraw or do not provide consent, we may be unable to provide the services and support you require.​
