Stanley Mills is an attacking midfielder who joined Everton at the age of 14 having previously been at Leeds United.
A speedy and skilful dribbler with impressive ball-striking ability, Mills featured regularly for Everton Under-18s in 2020/21 and was on target in the Toffees' FA Youth Cup quarter-final clash with West Bromwich Albion.
Mills made his Everton Under-23s bow in the young Blues' penultimate game of the season and marked his debut with a superb goal in a 5-0 win at Southampton.
He signed a first professional contract with the Blues in July 2021, penning a two-year contract.
Mills went on to enjoy an excellent 2021/22 campaign with Everton Under-23s, playing in all but one of the Blues' 26 Premier League 2 matches, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
Still eligible for Everton's Youth Cup side, he scored three goals in three matches in that competition as the young Toffees reached the last 16 of the prestigious tournament.
Mills was called into Everton's First-Team squad for the pre-season tour to the USA in July 2022 and featured in matches against Arsenal and Minnesota United, before playing in friendlies back in England against Blackpool and Dynamo Kyiv.
Days after the teenager was named on the bench for Everton's 2022/23 Premier League opener against Chelsea at Goodison, he signed a new three-year contract until the end of June 2025.
His favourite pre-match meal is beans on toast and, away from football, he likes to listen to Drake, watch Harry Potter and play FIFA.
In the 2022/23 season, Mills recorded 14 goals and assists in 21 appearances for the Under-21s and has been a frequent member of Sean Dyche’s matchday squad.
Mills' development continued in July 2023 when he joined League One side Oxford United on a season-long loan.
Mills is the son of former Manchester City, Leeds United and England defender Danny Mills, while his brother is a British indoor athletics champion at 1500m.
