Manchester-born Elijah Campbell joined Everton aged 13 and can play in the centre and on the left side of defence.
Eligible to play for England and Jamaica, he is a composed and athletic defender who is comfortable in possession.
In a 2020/21 season disrupted by injury, Campbell still managed 11 league appearances and shone in the Toffees' run to the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals. He earned manager Paul Tait's praise for exemplary performances in Everton's exceptional wins over Manchester City and Chelsea.
Campbell’s chosen pre-match meal is jerk chicken, rice and peas and, when he’s not playing football, he enjoys basketball.
