Hayley Raso

Everton completed the signing of electric Australia forward Hayley Raso in January 2020.

She was unable to make an Everton appearance during the 2019/20 season, however, owing to injury and the WSL being ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A total of 233 days since her signing announcement, the Australian made her debut for the Club in a 4-0 win away to Bristol City in September 2020.

Raso impressed throughout her maiden campaign with the Toffees, appearing 22 times in the league, scoring five goals and providing two assists. This included a perfect hat-trick during a 5-0 win away to Brighton in March 2021.

Raso started her career at Canberra United - where she won the W-League title - and made her senior international debut aged 17.

She has also played in the top-flight of women's football in the USA for Portland Thorns, where she won the league and was voted supporters’ player of the year in 2017.

Raso featured in every match for Australia at the 2019 Women’s World Cup as her side reached the last 16 of the competition.
