Katia Kouyate

Manchester-born striker Katia Kouyate joined Everton aged eight and is eligible to play for both England and Ivory Coast.

A dynamic attacker, Kouyate possesses impressive speed, skill and power.

He featured regularly for Everton Under-18s in the early months of the 2020/21 season and broke into the Blues' Under-23s team, playing four matches before a hamstring injury curtailed his campaign.

The 2021/22 season saw Kouyate play three Premier League 2 matches for the Blues' Under-23 side and he made two assists.

Continuing his progression, Kouyate became a regular for the Under-21s the following year, recording two goals and two assists in 25 Premier League 2 appearances.

Kouyate counts the strike trio of Didier Drogba, Thierry Henry and Dominic Calvert-Lewin as his football inspirations.

Kouyate’s favourite place in the world is France – he can speak fluent French – while away from football he likes basketball, FIFA and listening to gospel music.

In September 2022, Kouyate signed a new two-year contract until the end of June 2024.

Contracted until: June 2024
