Courtney Brosnan

Republic of Ireland international Brosnan joined Everton in July 2021 on an initial one-year deal.

She moved to the Club following a two-year spell with West Ham United where she left upon the expiry of her contract at the end of the 2020/21 season.

Born and raised in New Jersey, USA, Brosnan has experience in competing in the United States during her college career with Syracuse Orange.

The goalkeeper then moved to Europe where she enjoyed three years in France with Ambilly Féminin and Le Havre AC before moving to England.

Brosnan made her Everton debut in the Continental Cup group stage where she was named in the starting line-up for the opening match away to Manchester City in October 2021.

Experienced at international level, Brosnan has become a regular name in the Ireland squad since her debut against Germany in September 2020.

In June 2022, the keeper signed a new one-year Everton contract.

The opening months of the 2022/23 season were truly special for Brosnan.

The Everton goalkeeper helped secure the Blues' first win of the season with a dominant 3-0 display over local rivals Liverpool at Anfield in September 2022.

A month later on the international scene, Brosnan experienced another historic moment.

The Ireland international produced a sensational performance at Hampden Park as her nation beat Scotland 1-0 to qualify for their first-ever women’s World Cup finals.

Brosnan maintained that impressive early form for the remainder of her campaign, appearing on 18 occasions for the Blues with a total of five clean sheets across all competitions.

Contracted until: June 2024
