Sean McAllister

Northern Irish midfielder Sean McAllister joined Everton from Dungannon Swifts in the summer of 2019.

He was rewarded for an impressive maiden Blues campaign with a professional contract in June 2020, penning a two-year deal.

An energetic midfield player, who combines quality in possession with a strong work ethic and the ability to contribute vital goals, McAllister impressed for Paul Tait’s talented Everton Under-18s side during the 2019/20 season.

He elevated his performances to new heights in 2020/21 – playing 23 of Everton Under-18s' 24 U18 Premier League (North) matches, scoring eight goals and providing six assists.

McAllister's growing leadership qualities earned boss Tait's praise and he regularly captained the team.

His standout moment of the season came in the young Blues' dramatic 2-1 FA Youth Cup win at Chelsea, when he netted an 88th-minute winner to send Everton into the quarter-finals.

McAllister also made his first appearances for Everton Under-21s, featuring in their final two games of the 2020/21 campaign.

McAllister impressed in his first season as a fully-fledged Under-21s player in 2021/22, making 13 appearances and regularly showcasing the dynamism, competitiveness and positive intent that has underpinned his burgeoning Everton career.

McAllister, from Randalstown, County Antrim, is now a current Northern Ireland Under-19 international and was rewarded with a new Blues deal in April 2023, keeping him at the Club until at least June 2024.

Contracted until: June 2024
