Experienced goalkeeper Tinja-Riikka Korpela joined Everton from Norwegian top-division side Valerenga in 2019 and played 13 matches in her debut season, helping Willie Kirk's team achieve a top-six Women's Super League finish.

In her following season, Korpela made five appearances as Everton finished fifth in the WSL, the Club's best finish since 2013.

A serial winner, Korpela lifted two Bundesliga titles in her time with German giants Bayern Munich and three Finnish championships at FC Honka.

Senior international Korpela has appeared at two European Championships and made more than 90 appearances for her country.

She has also represented Kolbotn and LSK Kvinner in Norway and Tyreso FF in the Swedish top-flight.
