Leonie Maier

A serial winner, Leonie Maier joined Everton with a trophy-laiden path.

A two-time Bundesliga winner with Bayern Munich, Maier has experience of winning at the highest level.

That success transitioned to her international career where she was a prominant figure in Germany's defence as they won the 2013 UEFA European Championship and gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The experienced right-back joined the Club following two years at Arsenal with her experience of the English league a valuable asset to the women's side.

Her debut was one to remember as she found the back of the net in a 3-1 win at home to Birmingham City in September 2021.

The German international made 22 appearances across all competitions for the Blues and secured five clean sheets in the process.

Maier made 13 appearances for Everton throughout the 2022/23 campaign and scored in her final match with a late consolation effort against Manchester City.

Defender Maier will leave the Club upon the expiry of her contract to join German club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
