Toni Duggan returned to Everton in July 2021 signing a two-year deal.
Eight years after leaving the Blues for Manchester City, she re-joined the Club following the expiry of her contract with Atletico Madrid.
Born and bred in Liverpool, Duggan rose through the ranks during her first spell with the Blues and helped the first-team win the 2007/08 League Cup and the FA Cup in the 2009/10 season.
In the years between her two spells with Everton, Duggan won eight domestic trophies with Manchester City, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, with a desire to continue that winning streak on her return to English football.
Duggan made her debut for England against Croatia on September 2012 and has made 79 appearances for the Lionesses to date.
The Everton forward was a key part of the England squad in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup where the side won bronze with victory over Germany.
The Blues number nine got off the mark in her second spell for the Club in a 1-0 win over Durham in the Continental Cup and equalised for the Toffees a week later in the league in a 1-1 draw against West Ham in December 2021.
