Kevin Mirallas arrived at Everton from Greek champions Olympiakos in 2012.

A forward who generally operates on either wing but can also play in a central role, he started out in the same Standard Liege youth academy as Marouane Fellaini but soon moved over the border to Lille, where he broke into the first-team ranks.

He made his debut as a teenager in 2004/05 and gradually increased his involvement over the following three seasons before switching to St Etienne.

Kevin was a regular for Les Verts before completing a move to Olympiakos, initially on loan, in 2010.

His record in Greece was superb as he plundered 14 goals from 27 appearances in his first campaign and 20 from 25 in his second, earning him the club’s player of the season award.

He also helped Olympiakos take the Greek league title in both seasons he spent at the Karaiskakis Stadium.

The 24-year-old has forged a reputation as a skillful flair player and is also comfortable on set-pieces.

Mirallas made his Everton debut as a late sub in a 3-1 win over Aston Villa and four days later bagged a brace on his home bow as Everton thrashed Leyton Orient in the League Cup.

The pacy Belgian netted his first Premier League goal away at Swansea but his early season form was halted by a number of hamstring injuries. He managed to overcome those setbacks in the second half of the 2012/13 season to establish himself as a fans’ favourite and he was awarded with the Goal of the Season at the annual End of Season award dinner for his outstanding solo effort against Stoke City at Goodison.

He scored an equally spectacular goal away at Tottenham a week later. His final goals of the season came against West Ham United in the last home fixture of the season when he bagged a brace to finish the season with nine goals in all competitions.

Mirallas continued to be an important player in the 2013/14 campaign, netting nine goals in 37 appearances.

He was named in the Belgium squad for the World Cup in Brazil and returned to impress again with the Blues before signing a new three-year deal in August 2015.

The 2015/16 season was a frustrating stop-start campaign for the winger whose progress was halted by two red cards and subsequent suspensions.

Still he managed to weigh in with six goals, including an athletic volley in the dramatic 3-3 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

There were more opportunities for Mirallas in 2016/17 as Ronald Koeman became manager, with the Belgian making 37 Club appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals.

All of those strikes came in wins - away victories over West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City, and home triumphs over Manchester City and the Baggies.

In May 2017, he signed a new deal to extend his stay on Merseyside for another three years.

Mirallas joined former club Olympiakos on 7 January on loan until the end of the 2017-18 season.

He then moved to Italian side Fiorentina in August 2018 for the 2018-19 campaign. He made 30 appearances for the Florence outfit, scoring two goals.

Contracted until: June 2020
