Harry Tyrer

Crosby-born Tyrer has been with Everton since the age of seven.

An athletic, commanding goalkeeper, Tyrer established himself in Everton's Under-18 side in 2018/19 before breaking into the Under-23s the following season.

Boyhood Evertonian Tyrer played 11 of the young Blues' 18 Premier League 2 matches, delivering a series of fine performances before the campaign was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Tyrer's impressive development was underlined when he penned a first professional contract with the Club in January 2020.

The talented stopper was a regular in Everton First-Team training by the end of 2019/20 and he kept a clean sheet for the seniors in a Goodison Park 2020/21 pre-season victory over Preston North End.

Tyrer subsequently featured 15 times in Everton Under-23s' Premier League 2 campaign, recording three shutouts, and featured in seven First-Team matchday squads.

Tyrer's status as a goalkeeper of significant promise was further highlighted when he was included in the travelling party for Everton's pre-season trip to the USA in summer 2021, where the Blues competed in the Florida Cup.

He continued to impress for Everton Under-23s in 2021/22, starting 18 of the young Blues' 26 Premier League 2 matches. Tyrer also trained regularly with the Toffees' First Team and was part of 10 senior matchday squads.

He penned an extended contract with Everton in January 2022, committing his future to the Club for a further three-and-a-half years.

In July 2022, Tyrer joined National League North side Chester on loan for the 2022/23 season, where he made 47 league appearances.

The following summer, Tyrer made a season-long loan move to Chesterfield.
