Billy Crellin

Goalkeeper Billy Crellin joined Everton from Fleetwood Town on transfer deadline day in January 2022 and immediately linked up with the Blues’ Under-21s squad.

England Under-20 international Crellin penned a two-and-a-half-year deal to keep him at Goodison Park until at least June 2024.

He made two Premier League 2 appearances for the young Blues during the second half of the 2021/22 campaign, featuring in matches against Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United.

The young goalkeeper again featured twice in the Under-21s’ league competition the following season, playing 90 minutes against both Liverpool and Arsenal.

Crellin, who featured in England’s Under-17 World Cup winning campaign in 2017, made his senior debut for League One side Fleetwood in October 2018.

Crellin played 16 matches during a promotion-winning season loan with then-League Two Bolton Wanderers in 2020/21.

He had a shorter temporary spell in the National League with Chorley, where he played nine matches, in 2019/20, and the previous campaign spent time with FC United of Manchester in National League North.

Contracted until: June 2024
