Norwegian Einar Iversen joined Everton from Stord IL in his homeland in summer 2017.
A cultured, energetic central midfielder, he captained the Blues’ Under-18s in 2018/19 and won the prestigious Keith Tamlin Award at the Club’s season-ending Academy Awards.
Iversen, who is a Norway Under-21 international, signed a first professional contract with Everton in summer 2019, penning a three-year deal until June 2022.
He established himself in David Unsworth's Everton Under-23s squad in 2019/20 and played seven of the young Blues' final nine matches before the season was ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Iversen matured into an Under-23s mainstay the following campaign, making 19 Premier League 2 appearances and scoring twice, in addition to two assists.
He sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in March 2021, which ended his season and kept the Norwegian sidelined for the 2021/22 term.
