Kyle John's impressive development at Everton was rewarded with a new two-year contract in June 2021.
The right-back – who joined the Academy as a six-year-old – has established himself as a key figure for David Unsworth's Under-23s side, and has regularly featured in Everton First-Team training.
John had his first taste of senior action in 2018/19, playing as a substitute in the Blues' Goodison Park SportPesa Trophy victory over Gor Mahia from Kenya.
He continued to shine for Everton Under-23s the following season, mixing polished defending with dynamic runs into the final third. His crossing ability also caught the eye.
The 2020/21 season saw John sustain his consistent progress as he played 16 times in Premier League 2. He was also a member of seven senior matchday squads.
Contracted until: June 2023
