Everton signed hot prospect Shani Tarashaj from Grasshopper Club Zurich in January 2016.
The forward had captured plenty of attention in Switzerland, notching eight times for this club before the Blues pounced.
A Swiss international, Tarashaj scored for his country's Under-21 team against England in November 2015.
Aged just 20 when switching to Goodison, he signed a four-and-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
He was loaned back to Grasshoppers for the remainder of the 2015-16 season, a condition of the transfer which allowed him to complete his national service.
The player scored three times in the second half of the campaign and earned a senior international debut in March 2016.
Tarashaj was included in Switzerland’s squad for Euro 2016. He made one appearance at the tournament, as a late substitute in his side's second group game against Romania.
On 31 August 2016, Tarashaj joined Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan. He scored one goal - in a 3-0 win at Hamburg - in 15 outings for the German team.
Tarashaj's 2017-18 was ruined by injury, with his only football coming in the form of two substitute appearances for Everton Under-23s at the back end of the campaign.
He rejoined former club Grasshoppers on loan for 2018-19 and scored once in 12 games during his one-season stay.
Contracted until: June 2020.
