Edward Jones

Talented defender Ed Jones joined Everton aged 10.

A versatile, technical young footballer, Jones is comfortable playing in any position across the backline.

Jones made 13 league appearances for Everton Under-18s during the 2021/22 season, while also making his Under-21s’ debut in that campaign.

The following year saw Jones stay with the Under-18s’ squad, featuring on 10 occasions in the Under-18 Premier League North.

His favourite Everton player is Ben Godfrey, and he enjoys playing golf in his spare time.

Jones penned his first professional contract in July 2023, keeping him at Everton until at least the end of June 2024.
