Anna Anvegård

Anna Anvegård joined Everton on July 2021 as one of three Sweden internationals signed during the summer.

The Blues forward left Rosengård following the expiry of her contract, having spent the previous two seasons with the Malmo-based club.

Highly regarded as one of Europe’s upcoming talents, Anvegård is clinical in front of goal, earning the Damallsvenskan Golden Boot for her efforts during the 2019 and 2020 campaigns.

Internationally, Anvegård helped her nation earn bronze in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France and scored five goals during Sweden’s Euro 2022 qualifying campaign.

Before arriving at USM Finch Farm, Anvegård was amongst the Sweden squad that earned the silver medal at the delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The Swedish forward got off the mark in the Barclays FA Women's Super League with the opening strike in a 3-0 away win to Reading in October 2021.

While portions of her season were distributed due to injury, Anvegård still enjoyed a strong debut season in the English top-flight.

She was the Blues' top scorer across all competitions with seven goals.
