Hillsborough Tribute This Weekend
Everton's plans to remember the 96.
Everton will be marking the 24th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster at Saturday's game against QPR.
The match is the Club’s closest home game to the 15th April anniversary and Everton's tribute will comprise several elements.
Before the match there will be a period of silence and a tribute displayed on the big screens at Goodison Park.
When the players emerge they will be wearing black armbands as a sign of respect for those 96 fans who lost their lives 24 years ago.
Then, at half time, the Justice Collective's number one single He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother, will be played as a sign of the solidarity shown by fans across Merseyside.
On Sunday, Everton legend Graeme Sharp and life president Sir Philip Carter will attend an event dedicating a permanent Hillsborough memorial in Liverpool city centre.
And on Monday senior club officials will attend the memorial service at Anfield.
