Muhamed Besic has taken another positive step forward in his recovery from a cruciate knee ligament injury by joining Everton's first-team group during Monday’s training session in Dubai.

The midfielder is progressing well with his end stage rehab work and was able to participate intermittently with his teammates at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.

Besic has been sidelined since suffering his injury in Wayne Rooney’s testimonial against Manchester United last July and, as part of his recovery process, had recently been working one-on-one with the Club’s medical staff at USM Finch Farm.
