Zouma Excited To Feel Blues Support

Kurt Zouma became the last of Everton's new signings before the close of last week's transfer window - and the defender admits he cannot wait to play in front of the Blues' passionate supporters.

The France defender - who has lifted the Premier League title twice and picked up a League Cup winners' medal - penned a season-long loan deal from fellow Premier League side Chelsea, joining compatriot Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes, Richarlison, Bernard and Joao Virgina as the Toffees’ new recruits.

The 23-year-old sat down at USM Finch Farm after training on Tuesday to discuss his relief at getting the move over the line, his excitement in linking up with the new faces at Everton and why he’s happy to now have passionate Evertonians behind him instead of against him.

He also recalls how he confounded teammates at first club Saint-Étienne when stepping up the senior squad aged just 16.
