Forward Shani Tarashaj has joined Grasshoppers on loan for the 2018/19 season.

The Switzerland international winger returns to his first club, from whom he joined Everton in January 2016.

The 23-year-old was initially loaned back to Grasshoppers for the remainder of the 2016/17 season and also had a loan spell at German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt during his time at Goodison Park.

Tarashaj, who missed the majority of the 2017/18 campaign after undergoing knee surgery, is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Blues.
