Everton Make Four Changes For Newcastle Clash

Sean Dyche makes four changes from the side that started at Bournemouth last time out, with Vitalii Mykolenko, Ashley Young, Idrissa Gana Gueye and Beto all recalled to the starting line-up for Tuesday night’s clash with Newcastle United.

The Blues take on the Magpies at St James’ Park (7.30pm BST kick-off), looking to bounce back from a frustrating 2-1 defeat on the south coast over the weekend.

Manager Dyche has shuffled his pack for the clash, with Seamus Coleman, James Garner, Jack Harrison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all making way from the starting XI and taking up places on the bench.

Jordan Pickford starts in goal, while James Tarkowski will captain the side and Jarrad Branthwaite and Ben Godfrey continue in defence.

Gana is set to be joined by Amadou Onana in midfield, while Abdoulaye Doucoure and Dwight McNeil are also handed starting berths.

Goalkeeper Joao Virginia is joined on the bench by Nathan Patterson, Michael Keane, Andre Gomes and Youssef Chermiti, as well as Coleman, Garner, Harrison and Calvert-Lewin.

Everton starting XI: Pickford, Godfrey, Tarkowski (c), Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Gana, Onana, Young, Doucoure, McNeil, Beto.
