Everton Team News For Man City Clash

Amadou Onana could be in contention to return to the Everton squad for the trip to Manchester City on Saturday (12.30pm GMT kick-off).

The Toffees head to the home of the reigning Premier League champions this weekend, looking to build positive momentum following a four-game unbeaten run in the league.

Onana, who has been sidelined for the past two games after picking up a knee injury against Luton Town last month, is "back out on the grass" training with the Senior Team and working towards full fitness.

Dyche, however, said Arnaut Danjuma (ankle), Andre Gomes (calf) and Abdoulaye Doucoure (hamstring) won't be available as they continue their respective roads to full recovery - although the Blues' boss did reveal the latter is back on grass.

"Not Doucs, not Danjuma, not Andre Gomes - he won’t be back," explained Dyche in Thursday's press conference held at Finch Farm. "On a better note, Youngy continues to get fully fit. Seamus would have had a full week's training with the team, which is good.

"Amadou has been back out on the grass, and we will pick the team accordingly. But better signs and progress from the injured plays, and Doucs is on the grass. Not with us [the squad] but he is making a good progress."

Dele remains sidelined as he continues his rehabilitation from a groin injury.
