Two Pickford Saves Nominated For Premier League Award

Jordan Pickford has been nominated for the Premier League’s Castrol Save of the Month award for January.

The Everton goalkeeper's stops against Aston Villa and Fulham are both up for the award.

It's the second successive month the Everton keeper has been recognised, after his outstanding save against Tottenham Hotspur was shortlisted in December.

This time, the Blues No.1 has been nominated for his stop against Aston Villa, denying Leon Bailey at the near post in the goalless encounter at Goodison Park.

Pickford's leaping save from Tosin Adarabioyo's header in the draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage is also up for the award.

His efforts join a shortlist of five other impressive saves, which includes two from Martin Dubravka, one from Emiliano Martinez, and one from Dorde Petrovic.

Voting will close at midday on Monday 12 February.
