Everton Under-21s defender Elijah Campbell has joined Fleetwood Town on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
The 19-year-old, who joined the Club aged 13, is a highly-rated versatile prospect, capable of playing both as a centre-half and left-back.
Campbell was a regular for the Under-21s last season, making 23 Premier League 2 appearances, while also featuring three times in the EFL Trophy. He missed the start of this campaign through injury, but returned to Paul Tait’s side in late September and quickly made up for lost time.
He featured in 13 of the young Blues’ past 14 games across all competitions and captained the team in the majority of those matches.
Having earned regular training sessions with the Everton Senior Team, Campbell heads to Lancashire to take the next step in his development and join League One Fleetwood, managed by former Premier League midfielder Charlie Adam.
