Everton Team News For FA Cup Replay

Abdoulaye Doucouré and Seamus Coleman face late fitness checks ahead of Everton's FA Cup third round replay with Crystal Palace on Wednesday (7.45pm GMT kick-off).

Roy Hodgson's side head to Goodison Park following a controversial goalless draw at Selhurst Park nearly a fortnight ago that saw Dominic Calvert-Lewin sent off following VAR intervention, a decision that was later overturned after a successful appeal.

Doucouré, who made his comeback from injury in the goalless draw with Aston Villa at the weekend having missed five matches with a hamstring issue, will be monitored for fatigue, while a late call will also be taken on Coleman, who has experienced tightness in his hamstring.

Ashley Young has now resumed training but the clash with Palace will come too soon for the experienced defender.

Dwight McNeil was forced off with an ankle issue during the latter stages of the first FA Cup clash with Palace but recovered enough to play a part against Villa on Sunday, replacing Arnaut Danjuma as a second-half substitute.

Speaking in Tuesday's pre-match press conference, manager Sean Dyche said he will be select a side to win on the night, with the winners of the contest facing a home tie against either Luton Town or Bolton Wanderers in round four of the competition.

Idrissa Gana Gueye will not be available as he takes part in the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal, while Dele (groin) remains sidelined.

For the visitors, Cheick Doucoure (Achilles), Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, Joel Ward (both thigh), Jordan Ayew (participation in AFCON) are not available, while there are doubts over the fitness of Michael Olise (hamstring), Rob Holding (ankle) and Sam Johnstone (calf).
