Matchday Guide: Everton v Fulham

Please see below key information for fans attending Tuesday’s Carabao Cup fixture against Fulham at Goodison Park (KO 7.45pm).

FANS URGED TO ARRIVE EARLY

Supporters attending Tuesday’s Carabao Cup quarter-final against Fulham are encouraged to arrive at Goodison Park in plenty of time to avoid queues at the turnstiles and, therefore, potential delays entering the stadium.

Tuesday’s match is a sell-out, meaning a capacity crowd is expected to watch the Blues bid for a place in the competition’s last four.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SEASON TICKETS MEMBERS ENROLLED IN THE AUTO CUP SCHEME

Supporters on the Auto Cup scheme who have received confirmation via email that payment has successfully been taken for this match can enter Goodison Park using their physical season card or digital Season Ticket.

If using a digital Season Ticket, please follow the instructions here to ensure swift entry via the turnstiles.

Please note, if we have not been able to take payment for your ticket, the turnstile will turn red when you present your season card or digital Season Ticket and you will not be able to gain entry to the match. You can check your ticket has successfully been processed for this fixture by logging into your ticketing account here.

If you believe your ticket should be valid but the turnstile turns red when you attempt to access the stadium, please step away from the queue and locate your nearest steward, who will be able to assist you. Moving aside will allow fellow supporters to continue entering the stadium and minimise congestion.

SUPPORTERS’ CODE OF CONDUCT / REPORTING DISCRIMINATION / SAFEGUARDING

Everton Football Club has a strict, zero tolerance approach to all incidents of discrimination and disorder.

We remind supporters that all perpetrators of public order offences, which includes racist or discriminatory behaviour, pitch encroachment and the throwing of objects and/or the use of any form of pyrotechnics (including smoke grenades, smoke bombs/canisters and flares) will receive lengthy stadium bans, potential police investigation and further possible legal sanctions.

Flags must not contain anything considered to be offensive, discriminatory or inflammatory, including politically motivated or nationalistic messaging. In line with Premier League guidance, supporters are advised that Israeli or Palestinian flags will not be permitted to be displayed at Premier League fixtures for the foreseeable future.    

The Club has reaffirmed its commitment to football’s collective stance in tackling anti-social and criminal behaviour at matches and is required to work with the authorities to identify any individuals who take part in unacceptable behaviour.

If you witness any form of unsavoury or anti-social behaviour, harassment or discrimination at a match, please report it.

This can be done by speaking to a Club steward or a police officer or using Everton’s dedicated confidential reporting lines. Supporters can report any incidents to the Stadium Safety Team immediately by texting HELP and details of what has been witnessed and where to 84300, or by emailing reportit@evertonfc.com.

Please note that the Club has increased the age of minors needing adult supervision to 14. ALL fans under 14 should, therefore, be accompanied by an adult.

LIVE MUSIC ON THE FAN ZONE

The Fan Zone will be open at the Park End of Goodison Park from 5pm.

There will be a performance on stage from Mason Owens, while the show, commencing at 6.10pm, will be hosted by Giulia Bould and welcome a range of special guests.

Catering units will be on-site with hot and cold refreshments, while the Fan Zone also boasts a large, covered seating area, where supporters can seek refuge should any inclement weather set in!

Please note: No pyrotechnics (smoke cannisters or flares) will be allowed in the Fan Zone.

MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

The Club’s official matchday programme can be purchased from sellers located in and outside of Goodison Park and is priced at £4.

Supporters can also hear from Under-21s manager Paul Tait in the build-up to the Young Toffees’ final game of 2023 against Feyenoord, and our ‘Giants’ feature profiles Peter Reid, whose glittering career saw him win four trophies with the Club between 1984 and 1987.

MATCHDAY TRAVEL

Please be advised to check all travel routes prior to travelling to the game due to any unforeseen travel circumstances.

Stagecoach’s dedicated matchday 919 and Soccerbus services will be in operation for the 2023/24 season.

The 919 service operates to and from Liverpool city centre direct to Goodison Park, while the Soccerbus, operating to and from Sandhills Train Station, will commence two hours before kick-off and resume 10 minutes after the final whistle from Walton Lane. Full details can be found HERE.  

The closest train station, operated by Merseyrail, is Kirkdale on the Northern Line, which is approximately one mile from Goodison Park.

FOODBANK DONATIONS

Fans Supporting Foodbanks and their unmissable purple vehicle will be in the Fan Zone all season on matchdays. They will be accessible from Goodison Road.

Match attending Blues are encouraged to donate non-perishable goods and a variety of dry products, such as rice or pasta, tinned foods (including tomatoes and tuna) or non-perishable packets such as breakfast cereals, biscuits, long life milk, coffee, tea, fruit juice, sugar, and snack bars. Toiletries and children’s nappies are also gratefully received.

HERITAGE SOCIETY

The Heritage Society will be open upstairs at St Luke’s Church from 5pm.

The venue will host exhibitions featuring rare photographs and memorabilia and a sale of matchday programmes, while there will also be various stalls selling t-shirts, prints, books and crafts.

Joining them in St Luke’s will be the Homebaked Bakery, so don’t forget to check out the treats they have on offer!
