Loan Watch: FA Cup Action For Young Blues

It was a weekend full of FA Cup action for many Everton loanees at their temporary clubs, while others were in league action.

Here is an overview of how some of our players performed in this week's Loan Watch...

Stanley Mills - Oxford United

Result: 2-0 win
Overview: The on-loan midfielder produced a 68-minute display as Oxford secured their place in the next round of the FA Cup.

Mills started as Oxford took an early lead against their League Two opponent, with the win secured with a second shortly after 20-year-old's substitution. 

Harry Tyrer - Chesterfield    
Opponent: Leyton Orient (H)
Competition: FA Cup - Second Round
Date: Sunday 3 December    
Result: 1-0 win
Overview: Tyrer returned to the Chesterfield squad after injury as the goalkeeper was named on the bench for the National League side. For the second consecutive round, the Spireites beat League One opposition and are set to travel to Championship side, Watford in January.

Overview: 
Maupay’s Brentford returned to winning ways over the weekend with a 3-1 win over Luton Town.

The on-loan Everton striker opened the scoring on 49 minutes. Ben Mee's mishit effort deflected off the Luton defence and fell kindly for Maupay who prodded home past Thomas Kaminski.

Overview: Warrington was missing from the matchday squad as Plymouth beat Stoke City to go 16th in the Championship table. 

Mason Holgate - Southampton

Overview: Holgate was an unused substitute as Southampton beat Cardiff City, extending their unbeaten run to 11 matches.
