Beto Fitness Boost For Blues

Beto should be available for Everton's trip to Nottingham Forest this weekend - but Dominic Calvert-Lewin faces a late fitness check, while Amadou Onana is unlikely to feature in Saturday evening's game.

The Blues head to the City Ground looking to get back on track after Manchester United halted an impressive four-game unbeaten run on Sunday.

Summer signing Beto, who missed the defeat to the Red Devils with a minor knee injury, has resumed training and is in contention for a starting berth against Steve Cooper's side.

Onana is not expected to be fit enough to return from a calf issue for the encounter, while manager Sean Dyche has also revealed Calvert-Lewin will be assessed closer to the weekend after experiencing muscle tightness.

Seamus Coleman was named on the bench for the first time since recovering from a long-term knee injury last time out and is also being considered for selection by Dyche.

Dele (groin) and André Gomes (calf) remain absent for the Toffees.
