Harrison Nominated For Goal Of The Month

Jack Harrison has been nominated for the Premier League's Budweiser Goal of the Month for October.

The winger's stunning strike during the 3-0 victory over Bournemouth joins a shortlist of seven other impressive efforts, which includes goals from Jacob Bruun Larsen, Bryan Mbeumo, Saman Ghoddos, Diogo Dalot, Eddie Nketiah, Philip and Hwang Hee-chan.

The goal marked Harrison's first for Everton, and it arrived in his maiden Premier League start for the Blues.

Cherries goalkeeper Neto had punched away a Vitalii Mykolenko cross, but the ball fell to Harrison on the edge of the penalty area. As the ball bounced towards him, he stepped up to produce a side-footed volley, lifting it over a dozen outfield players in the Bournemouth box, as well as Neto, who could only watch as the ball bounced off the bar and into the goal.

Voting closes on Monday 6 November (12pm GMT) and the winner will be announced on Friday 10 November (1pm GMT).
