Two Everton loanees were in action for their temporary clubs this weekend and both attackers provided an offensive impact for their sides.
Elsewhere, bad weather conditions caused postponements across the country, ruling out game time for a couple of young Blues.
Here is an overview of what happened over the weekend in our Loan Watch...
Stanley Mills - Oxford United
Opponent: Blackpool (H)
Competition: League One
Date: Saturday 21 October
Result: 1-1 draw
Overview: Mills provided the assist for Oxford as they opened the scoring on Saturday. His well-placed chipped cross was guided into the Blackpool penalty area, where an oncoming Greg Leigh met the ball to put his team in front.
Mills had started the game, featuring for 62 minutes. Along with the assist, the 19-year-old completed two of his three dribbles and won three ground duels.
Oxford held the lead for most of the game, but Blackpool managed to score an equaliser through a Jordan Rhodes header in the 92nd minute.
