Work Continues To Make Stadium Watertight

The work continues to make Everton Stadium watertight as the internal fit-out gathers pace.

The façade is developing fast on all four sides, as the roof nears completion.

High-level glazing extends across the rear of the north stand, with the concourse area on the first level of the south stand also seeing full-length glazing panels installed across the full width.

The main entrance of the west and east stands have been fully glazed, and the red brick facades that complement the industrial surroundings are now wrapping around the south east corner.

A total of 731 panels will eventually clad all four stands, interspersed with contrasting anodised black metal panels.

Windows are also being fitted in the Hydraulic Tower and Engine House, as the historic buildings are also closing in on being watertight in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the western terrace is developing quickly across the length of the west stand, with wall supports now being in place alongside the concrete rakers, ahead of the terracing installations.

Also on the western elevation, the outside broadcast unit is taking shape, with twin-wall supports emerging as the structure evolves.
