Goodison To Host England Under-21 International

Goodison Park has been chosen to host England Under-21s' UEFA EURO qualifier against Northern Ireland in November.

Everton's home will welcome the Young Lions, who kick-started the defence of the crown they won in the summer with a 3-0 win over Luxembourg this month, for the game on Tuesday 21 November (7.45pm GMT).

For England Under-21s head coach Lee Carsley, the game will see a return to the Blues, where he made more than 150 Premier League appearances over a six-year spell.

And it will also be a return home for Jarrad Branthwaite, with the Everton defender selected in Carsley’s squad for September.
