For the 2023/24 edition, Doncaster are the first opponents for the Under-21s, and the Yorkshire side are familiar opposition for the Toffees after their Carabao Cup defeat to Sean Dyche's Senior Team in late August.
Just days later, Paul Tait's Under-21s will face Norwich City Under-21s on Friday 22 September in the Toffees' fifth game of this season's Premier League 2 campaign.
The game, a 7pm (BST) kick-off at Walton Hall Park, will be streamed live and free to watch on KICK - the Official Streaming Partner of Everton - and on YouTube.
