Thelwell Predicts Significant Impact From Harrison

Everton Director of Football, Kevin Thelwell, has backed Jack Harrison to "have a real impact" at Everton after one of the Club's key summer targets completed a season-long loan from Leeds United.

The 26-year-old forward had been one of Leeds’ star performers in the Premier League, topping their rankings for each of the past three seasons in terms of combined goals scored, assists made, chances created and dribbles completed.

Having secured the loan signing for the dynamic attacker, Thelwell discussed Harrison’s eagerness to join the Blues, and the many qualities he will bring to Sean Dyche’s squad.

"Jack has been one of our main targets this summer and we are delighted to have brought him to Everton," he explained to evertonfc.com.

"He was eager to sign for us and we are confident he can have a real impact on our team once he recovers from his minor injury in the next few weeks.

"Jack is a clever footballer who brings pace, technical ability, goals and assists, which, combined with his work ethic, makes him an excellent addition to our squad."
