Arnaut Danjuma will wear Everton’s number 10 shirt this season following his completion of a season-long loan deal from Villarreal to join the Toffees for the 2023/24 campaign.
The forward previously wore the number for AFC Bournemouth, where he played between 2019 until 2021. During his second year with the Cherries, Danjuma earned the club’s player of the season award, after recording 15 goals and seven assists in the Championship.
The Dutch international then transferred to Villarreal, wearing the number 15 for the Yellow Submarine and netting 10 La Liga goals in his first season.
Alongside the domestic campaign, Danjuma scored six UEFA Champions League goals to help Unai Emery’s side reach the semi-finals of the competition.
The 26-year-old has previously featured in Premier League games for Bournemouth, as well as with Tottenham Hotspur, after joining the Londoners on loan in January this year.
Prior to his move to England in 2019, Danjuma had previously played for Dutch clubs Jong PSV and NEC, and Club Brugge in Belgium.
