Academy defender Ishé Samuels-Smith has left Everton to join Chelsea.

The 17-year-old left-back moves to the Londoners, with Everton receiving a significant compensation fee as a result.

Samuels-Smith joined the Blues’ Academy aged nine, followed three years later by his twin brother Odin, and was a regular for Paul Tait’s Under-21s last season.

The England youth international was also included in Sean Dyche’s Men’s Senior Team matchday squad for Everton’s Premier League match against Fulham at Goodison Park in April.
