Everton Under-21s will begin their 2023/24 EFL Trophy campaign with an away fixture at Doncaster Rovers.

The young Blues' schedule for the competition has been announced and Paul Tait’s team, who are in group H, face a trip to the Eco-Power Stadium on Tuesday 19 September (7pm kick-off BST) for their opening match.

A week later, the Under-21s will then face Burton Albion at Pirelli Stadium in their second group contest. That match is again scheduled to get under way at 7pm (BST), and will be on Tuesday 26 September.

Everton's third EFL Trophy game of the season will see the Toffees travel to Field Mill to take on Mansfield Town on Tuesday 7 November (7pm kick-off GMT).
